Who we are
Forrcle is an automated invoice follow-up service for freelancers and consultants. We help you send payment reminders without the awkwardness. Our service is operated by the Forrcle team.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and payment preferences during account setup. We collect invoice data you create — including client names, email addresses, project names, and amounts. We also collect usage data such as when invoices are sent and when emails are opened.
How we use your data
We use your data solely to operate the Forrcle service — to send invoices and payment reminders on your behalf, to track payment status, and to improve the product. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except the services required to operate Forrcle (Supabase for database, Resend for email delivery, Upstash for job scheduling).
Your clients' data
When you add a client to Forrcle, you are responsible for having a legitimate basis to process their contact information. We store client names and email addresses to deliver the invoice follow-up service you request. Client data is never used for any purpose other than delivering your invoices and chasers.
Email communications
Forrcle sends emails on your behalf to your clients. These emails are sent from hello@forrcle.com and clearly identify you as the sender. We also send transactional emails to your account (signup confirmation, notifications). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Invoice and chaser log data is retained for 2 years for your records. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@forrcle.com.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase with row-level security — each user can only access their own data. We never store passwords in plain text.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your invoice data from your dashboard. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@forrcle.com.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only — session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of Forrcle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
